SUMMARY

  • UK-based AI startup Meet-Ting (Ting) has secured €289K in an oversubscribed SEIS funding round.

The investment, led by notable British entrepreneurs, will help the company further develop its AI-powered scheduling assistant that books meetings directly via email.

“Imagine a world where meetings book themselves, people meet faster, and you never have to deal with endless emails back and forth or those link-based scheduling tools that make your guests do all the work. That’s the future we’re building with Meet-Ting,” says Dan Bulteel, CEO and Founder of Meet-Ting. “It lives in your inbox – just CC it – and helps you seem thoughtful. Because how you meet says a lot about who you are. And when we meet, amazing things can happen.”

Meet-Ting (Ting) was founded in 2025 by Dan Bulteel, former Global Head of Social at TikTok/ByteDance and adidas, in partnership with venture studio Cocreatd, led by Oliver Yonchev and James Lawson Baker (with experience at Social Chain AG, Amazon, Apple, and more).

Born from frustration with constant meeting rescheduling, Ting was created after Bulteel messaged Yonchev: “Surely AI can fix this?” Within two months, the AI scheduling assistant was built and funded.

The tool works without any setup hassle—no dashboards, no logins, and nothing to install. It reads emails, understands the context, checks calendars, suggests times, and sends invites.

Currently integrated with Google Calendar (Outlook coming soon), Ting aims to eliminate scheduling headaches for founders, freelancers, consultants, and small businesses.

The team is also backed by advisors from top companies like Netflix, Disney, Google, and TikTok, helping to shape its product roadmap.

“Thanks to AI, scheduling doesn’t have to be so rigid any longer,” adds Bulteel. “Software can now adapt to us – our routines, our changes, and our painfully dynamic calendars.”

Meet-Ting is now rolling out its closed beta. Early access is available via Product Hunt, and a waitlist is open at meet-ting.com. Instead of relying on rigid scheduling links, Ting uses a conversational, email-based approach. By simply CC’ing ting@meet-ting.com, users can schedule, reschedule, and confirm meetings directly within their inbox.

The startup is part of the Google AI Startup Program, receiving up to €303k in Google Cloud and Gemini credits. Built on Gemini, Ting positions itself as a smart assistant—not just a bot—that adapts to the fluid nature of real-world scheduling.

Future updates will include persistent memory, enabling Ting to learn user habits and make more personalised suggestions. For now, the team is refining the Gmail experience, expanding compatibility, and gradually onboarding users to the beta.

About Meet-Ting

Founded in 2025, Meet-Ting is a free AI assistant that schedules meetings through email, just like humans do. CC Ting in a thread, and it handles the rest—suggesting times, rescheduling, and sending invites. Unlike rigid tools, it adapts to your rhythm using AI, making scheduling simple and flexible.
