Logically acquisition news – London-based Logically Acquired Insikt AI

The UK-based company claims that this acquisition broadens Logically's technology portfolio and enhances its research and development capabilities, giving customers a competitive information edge and giving them the clarity and assurance to reduce online harms with AI-driven solutions.

Through the acquisition, Logically's flagship intelligence platform, Logically Intelligence®, will incorporate Insikt's technologies. Consumers will have access to sophisticated SNA techniques as well as other cutting-edge inventions fueled by recent advances in AI research.

This will improve their capacity to combat a wider range of cyberthreats, such as terrorism and extremism, areas in which Insikt has demonstrated cutting-edge skills.

Co-founders Jennifer Woodard and Guillem Garcia will join Logically as a result of this acquisition. As a recognized specialist in AI applications for counterterrorism, Jennifer will take on the position of Vice President of Artificial Intelligence.

She counsels organizations like the UN and the European Commission, among others, on how to balance the ethical implications of applying AI to fight online harms. Her experience includes strategic leadership in scientific research and development, as well as its useful application to AI-powered products for national security and public safety.

As the Chief Scientific Officer of Insikt AI, Guillem oversees initiatives to apply cutting-edge NLP, Deep Learning, and network analysis research to apply AI to address some of the most important problems facing society. He will apply this knowledge to build a strong data science competence at Logically, where he will assume the position of Head of Data Science. This will assist solidify the company's standing as a front-runner in artificial intelligence for countering dangerous internet content.
