SUMMARY
- Vilnius-based startup Traxlo has raised €1.6 million to expand its pay-per-task labour platform across Europe, with new launches planned in Czechia and Romania.
The funding round was backed by Coinvest Capital, Bad Ideas Fund, Plug and Play, NGL, and DEPO Ventures, along with support from existing investors like Iron Wolf Capital and Antler.
“We’re not another gig or shift labour app. We’re building the labour infrastructure for the age of AI,” said Paul Vezelis, Co-founder and CEO of Traxlo. “If AI is automating knowledge work, Traxlo is standardising and distributing physical work at the same scale.”
Founded in 2020, Traxlo is building a pay-per-task labour infrastructure designed for the AI era. Instead of relying on traditional shift-based staffing, the platform breaks physical work into standardised, trackable tasks that are instantly matched to nearby workers through its tasku.app. Soon, its AI engine, tasku.ai, will automate task creation and completion verification using large language models (LLMs) and computer vision.

“Traxlo not only addresses labour shortages in retail and logistics, but also drives a systemic-level shift in how short-term work is done,” said Viktorija Trimbel, Managing Director of Coinvest Capital. “It’s rare to see a product with such a solid foundation that is already delivering real value to all platform participants – from companies finding short-term workers to people finding jobs that fit their schedules – and showing strong potential for growth.”
In just three years, Traxlo has partnered with 60% of Europe’s top commerce players, including major names like REWE Group and Zabka. Its platform has completed over 300,000 physical tasks—such as shelf restocking, product scanning, warehouse unloading, and e-grocery picking.

Each task is standardised, easy to learn in minutes, and can be completed by local workers—or soon, even robots. The model offers a flexible solution to staffing shortages by connecting businesses with task-ready workers who get paid weekly. Rather than paying for hours, companies pay for guaranteed results.
Traxlo’s approach also benefits local communities by creating new ways for people to earn steady income while helping businesses stay productive. With the new funding, Traxlo plans to expand into more regions, scale operations, and enhance its platform with advanced automation features, including agentic AI and integration with robotic workers.
About Traxlo
Traxlo is reimagining blue-collar work for the AI age with a pay-per-task labour model. As automation transforms the global workforce, traditional shift-based staffing is becoming outdated. Traxlo offers an outcome-focused approach—breaking down physical jobs into standardised, measurable tasks that are instantly matched to nearby workers through its tasku.app. Soon, these tasks will also be managed by AI and robotic agents, making the entire process smarter and more efficient.
