“Our journey has been fueled by a relentless obsession with enhancing legal productivity,” said Max Junestrand, co-founder of Leya. “We’ve been driven by a vision of a more delightful, AI-powered way of working in legal. This funding will allow us to accelerate even faster, as it comes off the back of our previous round just two months ago.”

“The pace at which Leya is adding features and scaling is incredible,” said Jacob Effron, Partner at Redpoint Ventures. “Max and the team have done a fantastic job making the product easy-to-use and valuable for lawyers across different parts of their work. AI is going to change the legal industry and we think Leya has the right combination of team, product and vision to drive that change.”

Said Chetan Puttagunta, General Partner at Benchmark. "The customer reception for Leya has been outstanding with enterprises and law firms of all sizes adopting Leya as a core part of getting their legal work done.”

Leya obsessed with this mission for half a decade. It made us begin exploring BERT models for Swedish legal sources already in student dorms. From there, it took Leya to a conference room at Mannheimer Swartling and then on a few round trips to San Francisco. And now, it’s led us to the next chapter in our story.

Leya combine cutting-edge AI with building world-class products and engineering. The dedication, creativity, and perseverance of the Leya team, as they collaborate to deliver delightful features and address our clients's most pressing problems, continue to impress.

Leya is becoming an intelligent platform that assists lawyers with specific tasks, connecting to your firm's documents, playbooks, templates, and public legal information. So when reviewing, searching, or drafting, Leya is there to help quickly turn over a contract, draft a report, or fill in a checklist for a transaction.
