Laennec AI funding news - Cardiff-based Laennec AI Limited has Raised Pre-Seed Funding

Welsh startup Laennec AI Limited has completed its pre-seed funding round, securing investment from SFC Capital and OVC Ventures. The funding will speed up the development of its AI-powered medical devices aimed at delivering affordable and patient-centered healthcare directly to homes.

Dr Arathy Varghese, PhD, Co-Founder and CTO, added, “It’s a step towards a healthcare model where patients are active participants in their care. By integrating advanced technology into self-care practices, we’re enabling earlier detection, continuous monitoring, and better disease management.”

The platform focuses on early detection and proactive disease management, encouraging patients to take an active role in their health journey.

Funding Utilisation
