SUMMARY
- The Fourth Law (TFL), a Kyiv-based defence technology company, has secured a new funding round supported by US public safety technology firm Axon.
TFL develops AI and robotics solutions focused on autonomy for defence and public safety applications.
The company builds an autonomy-focused software stack that includes simulation and analytics tools, autonomous applications and fleet management systems.
Its technology can operate across multiple platforms, including quadcopters, fixed-wing UAVs, missiles, and ground or maritime drones. Notably, TFL’s systems work independently of satellite navigation, allowing operation in GPS-denied environments, with potential applications beyond defence, such as logistics, manufacturing, and construction.

TFL’s flagship products include the Lupynis-10-TFL-1 UAV and the TFL-1 autonomy module, currently used by over 50 Ukrainian military units in frontline operations.
The company reports that its first-level autonomy technology can double to quadruple FPV drone mission success rates while adding roughly 10% to unit costs. Its latest product, TFL-AntiShahed, is an AI-powered module for interceptor drones that detects and identifies strike drones like Shahed and Geran faster than manual observation.
TFL’s autonomy modules are designed for integration across platforms. They can be installed on third-party UAVs, work with different ground stations, and operate across various connectivity systems.
According to founder and CEO Yaroslav Azhnyuk, the new funding will accelerate research and development of advanced autonomy capabilities aimed at protecting cities and critical infrastructure from Shahed-type drone attacks.
