  • Kosli has raised $10 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) group, with participation from Heavybit, Defined Capital, Transpose Platform, and a number of angel investors.
  • Kosli automates the compliance bottlenecks in your software delivery process, giving you speed, security, and audit-ready proof—at scale.

Alongside this funding milestone they are launching Kosli Enterprise, a new offering designed to meet the complex governance and compliance needs of large financial institutions. Kosli Enterprise includes enhanced support for organizations who require their expertise on how to map high level GRC requirements to the fast moving world of DevOps and CI/CD.

Martin Reeves, Engineering Platforms and Practice Lead, Deutsche Bank said, “We are delighted to partner and collaborate with Kosli to drive our vision of a highly efficient, transparent, and secure software development lifecycle that empowers our engineers to focus on developing solutions for the bank’s clients.”

Solving the Governance Bottleneck in Financial Services

Financial institutions have made significant progress in automating their software delivery pipelines, but governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) processes have lagged behind.

Manual governance remains a critical bottleneck, delaying releases, increasing costs, and exposing organizations to unnecessary risk.

Since their founding in 2019, they have been helping financial institutions to navigate these challenges by combining a powerful technology platform with our expertise in governance automation.

It enables teams to automate change controls, provide real-time visibility across the entire software lifecycle, and generate trusted audit records without slowing down development.

Sean Langton, CIO, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank said, “Kosli has been a great partner, not just in terms of their product and the control that it offers us, but also the end to end thinking around how we build a strong, well governed, well controlled process.”

Fueling Future Growth

This funding will accelerate Kosli’s expansion into large financial institutions, grow their team across all departments, and enhance their technology to provide even more powerful governance automation capabilities for our customers.

Tom Drummond, Managing Director, Heavybit said, “At Heavybit, we recognize the importance of being able to guarantee, in an era of AI-generated software, what software is running and when. We’re excited to support Kosli’s mission of delivering software more securely and with more accountability,”.

It is already trusted by leading global banks and financial institutions to deliver secure, compliant software at the speed of DevOps, but it’s not just banks who are facing this governance challenge.
