SUMMARY

  • Kidola is a childcare management platform, has raised €1.3 million in Seed funding to improve its product, grow its team, and expand into the French market.

The round was led by Luxembourg-based Expon Capital, with support from Super Capital and the Luxembourg Business Angel Network (LBAN).

“We created Kidola because we saw a real need for simplification—not in how children are cared for or educated, but in the system that supports them,” said Quentin de Madre, CEO and Co-founder. “Our goal is to help professionals and parents spend as little time as possible on Kidola, so they can focus on what really matters.”

Kidola was inspired by the founders’ personal experiences as new parents. They often forgot to report absences or request extra childcare hours—small mistakes that caused big issues.

Seeing how these everyday problems affected both families and childcare staff, they decided to create a tool that makes managing childcare easier for everyone.

Kidola says childcare centres are facing more pressure as parents want more flexibility and governments add stricter rules and reporting requirements. Without strong digital tools, even the best teams can struggle to keep up.

“Kidola has both the ambition and the early KPIs of a future multi-country SaaS leader. This is exactly the kind of company we love to fund—and know how to support. We’re proud to be part of their journey,” said Alain Rodermann, Managing Partner at Expon Capital.

Kidola is already used by over 30,000 caregivers in Luxembourg, France, and Belgium. The platform provides all-in-one tools for parent communication, attendance, invoicing, and compliance—easy to use with no need for heavy training.

With the new funding, Kidola plans to grow its team, improve analytics and reporting features, and expand further into the French market.

“This investment brings us closer to our vision of becoming Europe’s leading platform for childcare management,” added de Madre.
