Funding Utilisation
The funding will be used to expand the team, speed up product development, and bring their AI integration layer to the market.
Jentic is a startup based in Dublin, Ireland, founded in 2024 by a team of experienced tech entrepreneurs. The team includes Sean Blanchfield, co-founder of PageFair (acquired by Blockthrough) and DemonWare (acquired by Activision Blizzard); Dorothy Creaven, former Managing Director at Rent The Runway and co-founder of Element Wave; Michael Cordner, co-founder of Mindconnex; and Dr. Tilman Schaefer, a founding member of DemonWare.
Jentic’s mission is to speed up the development of reliable and powerful AI agents for the businesses of the future. They are creating a communication middleware layer for AI agents, helping developers and organizations easily connect their AI agents to other systems and manage their communication.
Jentic aims to be the platform that connects all types of AI agents, from those created by big tech companies to custom agents developed by in-house teams.
The AI industry has grown rapidly in recent years, with more innovation and investment. Jentic focuses on the connection layer between AI agents and other software, improving agent performance, reliability, and helping organizations manage large AI deployments.
For developers, Jentic makes it easier to integrate AI agents with APIs, automatically matching them to the best tools for the tasks. For executives, the platform offers a centralized view of AI agent operations, helping with monitoring, security, and access control.
Sean Blanchfield, co-founder and CEO of Jentic said, “We’re building critical infrastructure to enable developers to easily and securely hook their AI systems up to the world’s APIs, This is the future of automation, and it needs a new kind of integration layer to manage the unique complexity, reliability and security issues that arise when AI becomes highly connected. We have a strong history of building category-leading middleware, and this funding will allow us to quickly expand our world-class team, match the tremendous pace of AI development, and deliver a platform that empowers developers and organisations to deploy sophisticated AI with confidence.”
Niall McEvoy, Head of Venture at Elkstone said, “At Elkstone, we are committed to backing ground-breaking startups capable of transforming industries, Jentic’s clear vision to establish a universal AI integration layer aligns perfectly with our mission to drive technological innovation.
