ILS Raises Seed Funding To Grow ProVision Legal Platform

Founded in 2024 by Fergus Plant, Jack McCarthy, and Stefano Benigni, ILS was created to address the manual and fragmented workflows involved in post-close fund operations an area that has historically lacked modern software solutions.

While working in the investment funds teams at Goodwin and Proskauer, the founders identified the need for tools that could bring structure and automation to these processes.

To solve this challenge, the company developed ProVision, a platform designed to help private fund teams manage side letters and Most Favored Nation (MFN) processes more efficiently.

The system consolidates side letters into a single source of truth and converts negotiated terms into structured, searchable obligations and elections, while also simplifying MFN workflows by automatically generating and tracking election forms.

With integrated AI capabilities and compliance with SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR standards, ProVision aims to reduce reliance on manual tracking through emails and spreadsheets, enabling more consistent workflows and providing greater visibility into side letter obligations throughout a fund’s lifecycle.

Since its launch, Intelligent Legal Solutions has been adopted by more than 10 of the world’s leading law firms. Its platform, ProVision, has processed over 5,000 side letters across 450+ matters and supported more than $150 billion in fundraises.

The new funding will help accelerate the continued development and expansion of the ProVision platform, supporting the company’s product roadmap for 2026.
