[Funding alert] London-based Huzzle Raises €1.67 Million in Pre-Seed Funding

Huzzle has raised €1.67 million in initial money to revolutionise the field of early careers. The startup is supported by 10X Founders and a number of angel investors, including Verena Pausder (Chairwoman of the German Startup Association), Alexander Mrozek (former Global Product Lead at Google), Peter Bosch (former Board Member at Bentley), and Leon Szeli (founder of Presize, acquired by Meta).
Robert Wuttke, Founding Partner and Managing Director of 10x Founders, said: “I believe that the next generation of students will use Huzzle to enter the job market, because it brings clarity & convenience to a space that has been fragmented and underserved.”
CEO Ingmar Klein of Huzzle says that "students deserve better," and this principle is at the heart of the company's goal. "Getting a graduate employment is a difficult procedure that involves a never-ending loop of exhausting application submissions and rejections.
Klein said, Huzzle is reinventing student job search with a two-step approach. First, similar to Netflix’s recommendation system, Huzzle helps students find the right roles by matching them with entry-level opportunities based on their interests and goals. “With a database of 20,000+ entry-level opportunities, everyone can find the right job on Huzzle,”
It takes two approaches to enhance the application process, which is the second phase. First off, students on Huzzle spend 87% less time submitting applications thanks to its auto-apply Chrome extension.
It also assists students in submitting better applications by enabling them to utilise AI to customise their resumes for each job they apply for and by setting them up with mentors.

The core of the brand's identity is this all-encompassing strategy. It's objective is, according to Klein, "to support students throughout their university journey, with the end goal of helping them secure their dream graduate role." The company views itself as a career companion rather than just a job platform.
Users of Huzzle can find student societies in addition to employment and internships, which the website claims distinguishes them from their rivals. But this emphasis on student societies is more than simply a competitive play—it comes from the personal experiences of Co-Founders Parham Rakshanfar (COO) and Ingmar Klein (CEO).
Rakshanfar oversaw corporate relations for UCL Entrepreneurs, whereas Klein joined the PE & VC Club at the University of St Gallen prior to starting it. The two believed that societies were an essential component of college life, and empirical research has shown that students who are involved in societies are 18% more prepared for the workforce.
