Humbrela secures €161K to create a single smart system for insurance data

Swiss startup Humbrela has secured €161,000 (CHF 150,000) from Venture Kick to continue building its AI-powered platform that brings together insurance and warranty information in one place. The tool helps brokers, wholesale brokers, and Managing General Agents (MGAs) give faster and clearer support to their customers.
Today, insurance details are scattered across emails, PDFs, online portals, credit card benefits, and embedded products. This makes it hard for brokers to find structured information and give accurate advice. Since insurance deals with risk and money, customers still prefer guidance from human experts.
However, general AI tools only reach about 52% accuracy with insurance-specific content, so the industry needs specialised solutions rather than basic chatbots.
Humbrela solves this by creating a single intelligence layer that gathers all policies and warranties, highlights key protections, and turns complex clauses into simple, useful guidance for insurance professionals.
The company was co-founded by Semchs Zaidi (CEO), Simon Mazas (CTO), Mathieu Chabasse (CPO) and Sarah El Abshihy (Legal Counsel). Humbrela’s platform is designed for all types of policyholders and can organise, combine, or complete different kinds of insurance like health, car, or home making the entire process easier, clearer, and more affordable.
The company has already signed its first brokers in Switzerland and France and is currently holding advanced talks with wholesale brokers and MGAs across Europe. The newly raised funding will help Humbrela enhance its AI models for policy analysis and risk-gap detection, expand integrations with insurers, warranty providers and TPAs, strengthen compliance in EU, Swiss and UK markets, and accelerate its growth with brokers, wholesale brokers and MGAs.
