The mobile app uses AI to help artists find the right professionals, replacing today’s slow and offline process with a smarter, faster solution.

“Our goal is to offer artists and music professionals a digital space to find and create mutual value, and this funding round allows us to scale our vision, first in Italy, then across Europe,” says Emanuele Sanfelici, CEO and co-founder of HAT Music.

The HAT Music app is now available on app stores, with over 1,000 users and 350 active professionals like producers, managers, videomakers, and social media experts.

The funding round was led by B4i – Bocconi for Innovation, the startup program at Bocconi University, where HAT Music is part of batch XI.

Business angels in the round include Giulio Manzoni (CEO of GIMA SPA) and Guido Filippetti (founder and CEO, currently pursuing an MSc at King’s College London).

HAT Music is currently focused on the Italian market, with plans to expand across Europe starting in 2026. This growth will be backed by new performance metrics and a future funding round.

As Emanuele Sanfelici points out, over 120,000 songs are released globally every day.

“But behind most of them are emerging artists struggling to build sustainable careers due to a lack of professional connections and the right tools. HAT Music aims to fill that gap.”

The capital will be used to boost growth in the Italian market, support expansion into Europe, improve the product, and grow the user base.
