For Harmattan, the investment will speed up AI-enabled mission deployment across new operational theaters and support expansion into areas like electronic warfare, drone interception and advanced ISR. It will also scale industrial production, which already delivers thousands of systems monthly.
This move reflects a broader defense trend autonomous systems are moving from experimental use to full-scale reliable operation in high-intensity contested environments.
Central to the partnership is a shared focus on controlled and sovereign technology. Harmattan’s software is designed to be integrated, monitored, and managed within complex military platforms, rather than operating as a black box.
Dassault contributes decades of expertise in systems architecture, mission-system integration and combat-proven platform design, guiding how Harmattan’s AI manages unmanned aerial platforms alongside crewed aircraft a critical requirement for future air forces.
“This partnership with Dassault Aviation marks a decisive step in the emergence of a new generation of autonomous defence systems. Dassault Aviation’s trust and leadership accelerate our mission to deliver scalable, sovereign AI capabilities to allied forces. By combining frontier AI with world-class military aviation expertise, we are shaping the future of collaborative air combat,” said Mouad M’Ghari, CEO and Co-Founder of Harmattan AI.
