Goodvest Secures €12M Funding In Series B Round

The funding was led by Serena, with participation from business angels and existing investors Ring Capital, Polytechnique Ventures, ALM Innovation (AG2R LA MONDIALE’s innovation fund), and Globivest.

Founded in 2020 by Joseph Choueifaty, Antoine Bénéteau, and Aurore Pinon-Jacques, Goodvest is the first fintech to offer investment solutions fully aligned with the Paris Agreement.

Its products including life insurance, retirement savings, savings accounts, and private equity exclude harmful industries like fossil fuels and tobacco, focusing instead on renewable energy, low-carbon transport, and sustainable agriculture.

Goodvest uses a transparent methodology that, since 2024, includes biodiversity impact. A 2024 Reclaim Finance study found its Goodvie life insurance to have the lowest exposure to fossil fuels. Since its launch, the company estimates its portfolios have avoided over 100,000 tons of CO₂e, while allowing savers to customize allocations to their values.

As retail investing grows, Goodvest aims to meet demand with easy access and rigorous ESG standards. Partnering with impact-driven firms like Helios, Sycomore and CFCAL-Banque (Crédit Mutuel Arkéa), the company is focused on leading in responsible savings and setting a benchmark for transparent, positive-impact investments.

The funding will support the expansion of ecological and social impact offerings, the development of new strategic partnerships, and the growth of the team, with a focus on scaling the private wealth management service launched this spring.
