SUMMARY

  • Go Eve, a rising EV charging technology company, has raised $3.5 million as it celebrates UL 2202 (ETL) certification for its innovative DockChain system.

This milestone marks a key step toward expanding the company’s multi-bay charging technology across North America, supporting faster more efficient EV infrastructure deployment.

The company’s flagship product, DockChain, is a hardware-and-software system that optimizes DC fast (Level 3) charging. Its “daisy-chain” architecture allows a single charger to support multiple charging points, cutting infrastructure costs, improving accessibility, reducing wait times, and delivering a faster, more convenient EV charging experience.

CEO Hugh Sheehy commented on the significance of the certification: "Certification to North American electrical standards is a pivotal milestone for Go Eve and DockChain. This certification further opens the door to a major global opportunity, and to seize it fully, Go Eve is raising $3.5 million in additional capital before year-end, ensuring we have the investment and resources to scale rapidly and deliver on the demand."

DockChain’s intelligent software manages power across multiple charging bays, reducing wait times and improving vehicle turnaround. This lets operators set up charging infrastructure more efficiently while giving drivers faster, more reliable access to charging.

With North America’s EV market rapidly growing driven by rising adoption and supportive government policies demand for scalable, dependable charging solutions is surging. The International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts continued EV sales growth, positioning the region as a global leader in electric mobility.

Go Eve is partnering with major players like Uptime, Mid Cour and the Merlin Group to connect with large last-mile operators. These collaborations will speed up DockChain’s rollout in high-demand areas, helping the company expand its EV charging network across the US and Canada.

Sheehy also emphasized the role of Goodwill Integrated Solutions, a US-based manufacturing partner, in helping Go Eve scale. “Thanks to our manufacturing partner, Goodwill Integrated Solutions, we’re ready to deliver at scale. Certification clears the way for large-scale adoption and gives our customers complete confidence as they electrify their fleets, workplaces, and parking facilities.”
