GetVocal Raises $26M to Advance Its AI Customer Support Agents

Paris-based startup GetVocal, which builds AI agents for customer support, has raised $26 million and is already collaborating with major brands including Vodafone and Deutsche Telekom.

The Series A round was led by Nordic VC firm Creandum, with participation from Austrian investor Speedinvest and French deeptech VC Elaia.

AI agents are increasingly seen as the next major wave in artificial intelligence, taking on tasks traditionally handled by humans, such as customer service and IT support. GetVocal, a 60-person remote-first startup headquartered in Paris, will use the new capital to advance product innovation, expand into new markets, and grow its team.

Competing in a crowded field, GetVocal claims a key differentiator: it deploys AI agents only where they perform best, keeping humans in the loop for high-stakes decisions.

Its technology combines large language models with proprietary systems, enabling agents to specialise across the customer journey from onboarding through retention.

GetVocal counts major brands like Vodafone and Glovo among its customers and is running a pilot with Deutsche Telekom.

GetVocal CEO and Co-founder Roy Moussa, said: “Research by the MIT Media Lab shows that 95 per cent of companies fail to get financial value from AI pilots because they lack the skills, processes, and governance to effectively integrate AI. Our customers are proudly in the five per cent.

“We look forward to restoring confidence in AI agents and offering Europe’s thriving enterprises a pragmatic solution to embed them in their customer experience operations.

"This funding will directly support the continued development of our hybrid workforce management capabilities and enable us to grow our international team and expand our commercial reach across Europe.”
