Île-de-France-based WAAT a company specializing in electric vehicle charging infrastructure for private settings, has raised €100 million from DWS Group’s sustainable investment fund and Bpifrance, with existing investor RAISE Impact also participating.

The new funding will help WAAT accelerate growth in France and across Europe, expand charging terminal installations in condominiums, social housing, and commercial buildings, and further advance its smart technology solutions.

The French company has set clear goals for electrifying private mobility by 2030.

It plans to install 250,000 charging points through large-scale infrastructure deployment. WAAT also aims to strengthen its leadership in the condominium market and expand in the commercial sector.
The company will enhance its services with connected digital solutions. Its MyWAAT platform will use AI to optimize charging and improve customer engagement. WAAT also plans to expand internationally, replicating its successful model from France.
