SUMMARY
- Tallinn-based designtech startup Flowstep has raised $2.6 million in Seed funding, bringing its total funding to $4.5 million.
As AI rapidly transforms how developers write code—often referred to as “vibe coding”—design still lags behind as a bottleneck. While AI can now generate up to 50% of new code, creating high-quality user experiences still requires strategic thinking and creativity that AI alone struggles to handle.
Flowstep introduces a new approach called “vibe design.” It puts design at the core of product development, helping teams move from idea to product up to 10× faster—without compromising on quality, usability, or creativity.

Unlike other AI design tools that focus on full automation, Flowstep is built for augmentation. It works the way product teams already do, speeding up early-stage design and enabling creators to build thoughtful, unique, and user-focused digital products.
According to Matt Clannachan, co-founder and CEO of Flowstep, the platform enables teams to turn ideas into designs instantly—bringing their vision to life at the speed of thought.
“Instead of designers adjusting their creativity to fit rigid tools, our platform adapts to the natural way teams think, accelerating ideation and iteration.
With this funding, we're closer to redefining how exceptional digital experiences are crafted.”
Flowstep’s platform combines LLMs, reinforcement learning, canvas technology, and proprietary computer vision to generate design assets. With just a simple prompt, users can create detailed user flows, wireframes, and pixel-perfect designs. Designers have full control on an infinite canvas—allowing them to use AI suggestions or make manual edits without needing to re-prompt.
The $2.6M seed round was led by Supernode Global, with support from Adesso Ventures, Angel Invest (Berlin), Dnipro VC, Iron Wolf Capital, and WhatsApp’s Anton Borzov. Existing investors like Tera Ventures, Specialist VC, and angels including Thomas Wolf (Hugging Face) and Elias Aalto (Wolt) also participated.
Mike Sackler, founder and Managing Partner at Supernode Global, said: “Flowstep fits our thesis around the future of creative and technical tools.
They have built a platform that truly enhances how product design is done today, and their vision aligns with the growing demand for tools that embed intelligence into the creative process.
We believe this team will play a critical role in shaping how digital products are built in the next decade.”
“We’re excited to back Flowstep as the first investment from our second fund. The team brings rare clarity and focus - they’re fast, product-obsessed, and deeply understand the needs of designers. The UI design space is being reshaped by AI, and Flowstep is at the forefront of that transformation. We’re proud to support them early,” said Viktoras Jucikas, Partner at Iron Wolf Capital.
Flowstep currently has a team of eight, including former founders and professionals from companies like Bolt and Revolut.
The new funding will help the company grow its team, especially on the engineering side, and accelerate product development. As Flowstep continues to expand its reach among product teams, design studios, and tech startups in the US and globally, it also plans to roll out enterprise-level features focused on governance, security, and compliance.
