Finland based quantum computing startup IQM Quantum Computers has secured a €50 million financing package from funds and accounts managed by BlackRock.

- Finland based quantum computing startup IQM Quantum Computers has secured a €50 million financing package from funds and accounts managed by BlackRock.
The funding is aimed at supporting the company’s continued expansion and strengthening its position in the global quantum computing market.
The facility was arranged ahead of IQM’s previously announced plan to become Europe’s first publicly listed quantum computing company through a merger with Real Asset Acquisition Corp. It is expected to lower the company’s overall cost of capital while improving financial flexibility and capital structure diversification.

IQM develops full-stack superconducting quantum computers and offers both on-premises systems and cloud access to research institutions, universities, high-performance computing centres, and national laboratories. Its approach allows organisations to directly operate and manage their own quantum computing infrastructure.
