Fal.ai funding news – Mediatech Startup Fal.ai Secures $49Million in a Series B Round Funding

Earlier, the company raised $23M in two rounds: a $14M Series A from Kindred Ventures and a $9M seed round from Andreessen Horowitz.

The new funding will help expand their infrastructure, build a marketplace, and grow their team. It provides managed computing resources and workflows for running models, plus APIs for open-source models that create different types of media.

The team commented on the raise: "Generative media is expanding faster than we ever imagined, and video is its next frontier. It has raised a $49M Series B to fuel our mission: building the core infrastructure for AI-driven media creation."
