Exoticca, a TravelTech startup based in Barcelona that focuses on digitalising long-haul, multi-destination trips, has raised €25 million in funding from BBVA Spark, a division of BBVA that supports fast-growing startups.

Pere Vallès, CEO of Exoticca said, “This additional funding from BBVA Spark provides us with even more flexibility to continue innovating our business model and expanding our international presence, particularly in key markets like North America, where we already generate over 75% of our business,”.

With this funding, it is strengthening its mission to change how long-distance travel is booked, planned, and experienced, while also speeding up its expansion into important international markets.

Vallès said, “Exoticca was born with the mission of revolutionising the long-haul travel sector that requires connecting multiple locations and services, digitalizing a category that has historically relied on physical channels and manual processes,".
This funding is another big step in Exoticca’s fast growth, strengthening its focus on technology, automation, and creating travel experiences that put customers first.
