Travel technology company Entravel Group has acquired Moca Traveltech Group, a Barcelona-based B2B travel startup, to strengthen its presence across Spain and Latin America.

SUMMARY

  • Travel technology company Entravel Group has acquired Moca Traveltech Group, a Barcelona-based B2B travel startup, to strengthen its presence across Spain and Latin America.

Founded in 2025, Moca Traveltech Group connects travel buyers with hotel inventory through direct hotel partnerships and extensive industry relationships.

Led by travel industry veteran Alex Pedret, former Global Director of B2B Hotel Distribution at Trip.com Group, the company has built more than 100 API integrations and established a strong network of hotel and travel partners across Spanish-speaking markets.

The acquisition gives Entravel Group greater access to regions where much of the travel distribution infrastructure still relies on outdated technology. Moca’s direct hotel contracts and buyer relationships provide a valuable foundation for expansion that would be difficult to build organically.

By integrating with Entravel Group’s technology platform, Moca will gain access to infrastructure capable of handling large-scale travel distribution, higher query volumes and more advanced automation capabilities.

The combined offering will also benefit from AI-driven features including intelligent room mapping technology that helps reduce duplicate listings and improve content accuracy across hotel inventory.

Following the acquisition, Moca Traveltech Group will be rebranded as MocatravelX and will become the fourth business division within Entravel Group. Alex Pedret will remain CEO and lead the company’s continued expansion throughout Latin America.

The deal supports Entravel Group’s strategy of growing its travel technology platform and strengthening its position in key international markets.

"This is exactly the kind of acquisition we look for," said Mathias Lundo Nielsen, founder and CEO of Entravel Group.

"Alex brings hard-to-replicate market expertise, contracts that take years to build, and deep relationships in markets we couldn't meaningfully reach before.

We bring the technology to finally let him serve the clients he already has. Together, we're building a more capable, more localised distribution platform for Spanish-speaking countries."

“Joining Entravel Group gives us the technology and operational scale to unlock our next phase of growth,” said Alex Pedret, CEO of Moca Traveltech Group.

“We’ve put a lot of effort into building direct contracts and strong industry relationships. With Entravel’s infrastructure and AI systems behind us, we can take those partnerships global and deliver a significantly stronger product to both hotel partners and buyers. We’re targeting a 10x increase in direct hotel contracting and sales in the months ahead.”
