SUMMARY
- Germany-based Enter, a platform focused on energy-efficient renovations and smart building intelligence, has raised €20 million in Series B funding, bringing its total funding to €40 million since its launch in 2020.
The round includes continued support from Coatue, Target Global, noa (formerly A/O Proptech), Partech, and Foundamental, with SE Ventures—the venture arm of Schneider Electric—joining as a new investor.
With over 180 million buildings in Europe needing major energy upgrades by 2050, Enter is creating a new standard for driving this large-scale transformation.
The Enter app allows any property to be digitally scanned in just minutes — capturing material details, energy performance, and renovation needs. Its AI engine then generates customised renovation plans based on CO₂ pricing, available subsidies, energy costs, and climate goals.

The platform also recommends the best-fit contractors from a network of 100+ verified professionals across Germany — making it easy to find regional, available, and comparable options.
What once took days of manual work now happens in minutes. Enter reduces manual steps by 70%, cuts operational staff needs by 60%, and enables one employee to do the work of four energy consultants.
In Q2 2025 alone, over 30,000 buildings were fully analysed on the Enter platform — automatically, accurately, and in line with subsidy requirements.
Now expanding across Germany, Enter offers personalised renovation paths for millions of homeowners, unlocking the biggest climate impact opportunity in Europe: upgrading the existing housing stock.
With rising energy costs, global uncertainty, and stricter regulations (like GEG and the EU Renovation Wave), energy-efficient renovation has become essential — not optional. Enter is meeting this challenge with smart, data-driven infrastructure to simplify the entire process.
According to Max Schroeren, CEO and co-founder of Enter: “Enter is no longer just an energy consulting company – we are the infrastructure for climate-neutral living. Our AI analyses and orchestrates thousands of renovations in parallel, enabling millions of households to finally take action.
The Series B funding and our technology investments in recent years give us the tailwind to bring our mission to the mass market.”
