London-based Africa-focused asset manager Enko Capital has closed the first round of its impact-driven private credit strategy, raising US$100M.

- London-based Africa-focused asset manager Enko Capital has closed the first round of its impact-driven private credit strategy, raising US$100M.
Investors in the first close included British International Investment (BII), IFC (part of the World Bank Group), Sicom Global Fund Limited, as well as various African pension funds and family offices.
The fund offers US dollar-denominated private credit to mid-market companies across Sub-Saharan Africa, targeting established, cash-generating businesses in stable sectors like agriculture, telecommunications, manufacturing, renewable energy, and financial services.
