SUMMARY

  • Embeddable, a developer tool, has raised €6 million in Seed funding. As the software industry grows and the need for skilled engineers increases, businesses are turning to embedded analytics tools to add dashboards and analytics to their applications.
  • Embeddable believes you shouldn't have to choose between building or buying an analytics solution.

Traditional embedded analytics tools often have issues like slow load times, limited customization, and requiring a lot of engineering work.

Embeddable solves these problems with a headless architecture designed to create interactive analytics directly in applications. This helps developers meet the diverse needs of their customers without the heavy lifting.

Embeddable’s platform makes it easy to build custom analytics dashboards and visualizations. Users can personalize their data views with a no-code interface, freeing up developers to focus on core product features while still maintaining control over the user experience and design.

Despite having a small team of just 14, Embeddable had already signed contracts with 36 companies—ranging from startups to billion-dollar businesses—before launching its Private Beta in December 2023.

The company has continued to grow, receiving over 800 beta applications, signing new contracts worth over $100k each month, and forming early partnerships with companies like StarTree, amCharts, and Cube.

Tom Gardiner, CEO and Co-Founder of Embeddable, embedding analytics is becoming as essential as adding payments or chat features, but the tools haven't kept pace with the needs of developers and end-users: “Just like Stripe made payments seamless for developers, Embeddable is doing the same for customer-facing analytics. We're building a platform that empowers teams to deliver fast, interactive data experiences at scale, all while creating a community where developers can share and collaborate — saving them time to work on their core product features."

OpenOcean led the round, with participation from existing investors: Four Rivers, and TechStars.

Sam Hields, Partner at OpenOcean, characterised founders Harry and Tom as proven leaders with a decade pushing forward innovation in the business intelligence space: “With Embeddable, they’ve reimagined what embedded analytics can be—leaving behind the big BI players’ clunky, outdated iframe solutions. In its place, Embeddable’s headless architecture gives businesses everything they need to build fast, interactive, customer-facing analytics at the heart of their product. And because it’s self-serve, the non-technical team is empowered to customise the analytics without always relying on developers. Harry and Tom are building something extraordinary, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of their journey as they set a new standard in the industry.”

Embeddable plans to use the funding to grow its team and create a developer community focused on working together to innovate.

About Embeddable

Embeddable believes you shouldn't have to choose between building or buying an analytics solution. Building it yourself can be expensive and time-consuming, while ready-made solutions often don't provide the best experience for your customers.
