SUMMARY

  • Dreamcraft Ventures, one of the leading emerging venture capital firms in the Nordics, secures €66 million of fund II.
  • Dreamcraft makes pre-seed to series A investments in tech-driven European businesses.

Dreamcraft Ventures will increase the number of investments it has made in Europe to over 40 by investing in 30 additional firms as a result of this successful close, which exceeds the original fund target. Prominent institutional limited partners (LPs) such as Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker, several Family Offices, and powerful entrepreneurs support this accomplishment.

Europe's Strategic Expansion

Dreamcraft Ventures wants to expand its formidable Nordic base and apply its profitable investing strategy throughout Europe. With a focus on organised and dependable support, the company's distinctive "venture engineering" methodology guarantees a greater percentage of successful graduations and exits. Prominent companies such as Hiber and Banking Circle have benefited greatly from this process, leading to important acquisitions and alliances.

Assisting Aspiring Founders

Dreamcraft Ventures intends to further connect the Nordic and wider European IT sectors, having already made large investments in Germany. As part of the firm's strategy, portfolio businesses receive full operational support from the start of their engagement all the way through Series A.

Carsten Salling, General Partner at Dreamcraft Ventures said, “We are thrilled to have the continued support and trust of our LPs as we expand our investment and value-add approach – what we call venture engineering – from the Nordics to the European ecosystem,” “We believe that venture capital is a craft, not an art, and we are excited to support the most ambitious founders across Europe with our structured and reliable investment approach.”

It intends to use Fund II to make investments in 16 additional European businesses. Early-stage founders are greatly assisted by the firm's committed case teams and in-house People & Culture specialist, Nico Blier-Silvestri, as they navigate the pivotal early phases of their businesses.

Daniel Mariussen, Managing Partner at Dreamcraft Ventures said, “It’s about being a reliable partner for the founders,” “Early-stage investing is a craft, and it’s about getting the work done. We work hand-in-hand with founders to build successful ventures and support them towards Series A, even with the nitty-gritty things. Founders can rely on us to provide the missing pieces needed to succeed at pre-seed and seed stages.”
