DoorDash is the U.S. food delivery company, announced it will buy British meal delivery service Deliveroo for £2.9 billion as part of its plan to grow internationally.

Last month, DoorDash offered to buy all of Deliveroo’s shares. It will pay 180 pence per share and said the offer is final and won’t be raised.
Deliveroo’s shares have not performed well since going public in 2021. The company said its board reviewed DoorDash’s offer of 180 pence per share and is recommending that shareholders accept it.
