SUMMARY
- Cyprus-based gaming studio Nice Plans Studio has raised $3 million in a new funding round led by family office Pixeldog, with an extra $600,000 from its founders.
The studio is run by a small, 21-member remote team, led by Roman Malakhov (CEO) and Dmitry Koblyk (Game Director), who have spent the last eight years developing mobile shooter games.
They previously created Tacticool, a mobile shooter that made $90 million and was downloaded over 30 million times.

Their latest game, Ricochet Squad, is already showing better performance than Tacticool in ARPU, retention, and early monetization.
In its 2024 soft launch, the game doubled early retention to meet top shooter standards.
By 2025, it achieved an impressive 4–5% day-one player-to-payer conversion rate, putting it among the best in its genre.
Ricochet Squad stands out with its focus on action, tactics, and autofire instead of traditional precision shooting. It’s designed specifically for mobile and delivers a fresh, fast-paced gameplay experience.
The game also uses a unique server-side simulation system. This allows all players to experience real-time destruction — for example, when a structure explodes, every player sees the same debris fall in the same way, at the same time.
According to Roman Malakhov, Co-founder and CEO of Nice Plans Studio: “Our mission is to evolve mobile multiplayer through games built on shared foundations: physics-driven combat, reimagined controls, meaningful teamplay, and systems designed for long-term engagement.”
In its upcoming games, Nice Plans Studio plans to expand its gameplay by adding new features like a chemistry engine (with elements like fire and ice) and vehicles.
The studio is now getting ready for a Series A funding round to grow Ricochet Squad and speed up its broader strategy focused on physics-based combat games.
