The funding will be used by the Dutch business to create more than 1,000 acoustically performed music video clips and to primarily disseminate the film catalogue online.
Gavriel Lipkind, founder of ConcertLab, “It creates immersive music video content that brings the world closer to the greatest musicians of our time. The music industry is shifting rapidly from audio-only to video — a global trend. There is an enormous demand for high-quality performance music videos. However, proper acoustic music films are way too expensive to produce and look outdated.”
Martijn Meeske, partner/ business development, explains, “All partners in ConcertLab share a big love for music. We know there is an untapped potential for high-quality film recordings of fine arts music which is currently not serviced due to technical and financial obstacles. Filming acoustic music in a modern and high-quality way requires special technology, a building with beautiful acoustics, access to international musicians, and a great online distribution deal. We have all of that.”
