The platform supports compute-intensive workloads such as 3D rendering, CAD, and animation, catering to industries including architecture, engineering, construction and visual effects.
“Computle is tackling a real challenge with impressive ingenuity,” said investor Mark Boost. “They’re giving architects, VFX professionals, and engineers the power and speed they’ve been missing in the cloud.”
The company has contributed to projects spanning national infrastructure planning, high-profile television productions and award-winning architectural designs.
“Mark instantly recognised the future we’re building,” said Jake Elsley, Computle's founder and CEO. “His insight into scalable infrastructure will help us redefine how the AEC industry works and enable a new standard of boundaryless creativity.”
Computle’s funding arrives as industries shift from local high-end machines to cloud-first workflows, driven by hybrid work, global collaboration, and rising infrastructure costs. While giants like AWS and Microsoft Azure dominate general cloud computing, Computle focuses on niche, low-latency solutions for design and engineering professionals.
Even as VC attention in 2025 goes to generative AI and software startups, cloud-native hardware virtualisation remains essential for content creation, digital twins, and advanced simulations.
Computle now plans to expand its presence, offering flexible, high-performance, and easy-to-use virtual workstations that boost productivity for creative and engineering teams.
