About Voltfang

Voltfang is a cleantech company founded in 2020 at RWTH Aachen University by Afshin Doostdar and David Oudsandji. The company develops high-performance battery storage systems for industrial, commercial, and grid-scale applications, using requalified EV batteries from the European automotive sector. Voltfang’s mission is to strengthen Germany’s energy independence by deploying enough battery storage to replace the Weisweiler coal power plant.
