Founded in 2015 by LARS BEYKIRCH, the company was created to address the fact that, according to the World Health Organization, nearly two-thirds of the global population still lack access to this essential diagnostic technology, while regions with existing radiology infrastructure face rising costs and pressure to control healthcare spending. To bridge this gap, Pristem is developing a high-tech, user-friendly, economical, and durable “all-in-one” radiology system designed for deployment even in remote and resource-limited settings. With plans to commercialize the system within the next two years, the company aims to improve healthcare access especially in low- and middle-income countries by delivering affordable and effective diagnostic solutions.
