InSpacePropulsion Technologies (ISPTech) was founded in 2023 as a spin-off from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) with the mission of advancing next-generation space propulsion technologies for satellites and spacecraft. The company was established by a team of experts led by Dr. Wolfgang Schiebel, who brought deep experience in aerospace engineering and space propulsion together with colleagues from DLR’s propulsion research groups. Since its founding, ISPTech has focused on transforming cutting-edge research into practical propulsion systems that enable more efficient, reliable, and sustainable space missions, supporting satellite maneuvering, orbit maintenance, and future exploration initiatives.
