About Carge

With the aid of the MaaS app Carge, electric vehicle users may connect to any public charging network and have a smooth experience. Two driven colleagues created Carge in 2020 with the goal of creating a unique app for e-Mobility services. A mobile app called Carge, developed in Athens, connects thousands of electric vehicle charging stations throughout Europe. Carge and Smartcar partnered to provide EV Connect, a new service that provides Carge users with real-time battery information to improve their charging experience. 2020 saw Eleftherios (“Lefty”) Karabatsakis go on his first road trip across Europe in an electric car, which gave rise to the concept for Carge. Lefty had to utilize many applications to access several charging stations along his route in order to power his EV. Additionally, he had to pay a predetermined deposit in advance to each charge point operator due to network exclusivities. It was an expensive, time-consuming, and frustrating procedure. Carge currently operates with more than 180,000 public charging stations in 16 different European nations.
