There is no doubt that the path of a startup is not a bed of roses. In fact, it is often an uphill journey, and only a few make it to the top. Innovators face numerous obstacles and challenges. According to the latest report by Startup Poland, "Polish Startups 2023," founders most often struggle with high employee costs (54% of respondents), securing funding in subsequent development phases (49%), bureaucracy related to running a business (37%), difficulties with international expansion (24%), and a lack of appropriate knowledge and experience (18%).

Properly designed programs can provide immense support on their journey to the proverbial summit. One such program is the "Huge Thing Startup Booster" organized by the Huge Thing team, which is now open for recruitment.

While preparing the Huge Thing Startup Booster program, we decided to divide it into three tracks, perfectly tailored to startups at different stages of development. This way, the invited mentors, partners, and the prepared content will perfectly address their current situations and needs. - comments Maria Tyka-Majewska, Senior Program Manager at Huge Thing.

The Huge Thing team has prepared three specialized tracks for the Startup Booster program, which are perfectly tailored to the different stages of startup development and the so-called TRL, or Technology Readiness Levels.

Industry Test (corporate) (TRL 6-9):

This is the corporate track designed for startups with an already functioning product or service. Participants will receive grants of up to 80,000 euros and have the opportunity to collaborate with large organizations that are project partners, including Veolia, the City of Zduńska Wola, Saint Gobain, PKO Bank Polski, Rossmann, PZU, Alior Bank, Żabka, and Legimi. Their joint efforts focus on product development and implementation testing. The goal of this track is to provide startups with the opportunity to test their solutions in a real business environment, allowing them to refine and adapt to actual market needs.

Go Global (TRL 8-9):

This track is designed for startups that have reached a higher level of technology readiness and have completed their initial market implementations. The program offers grants of up to 80,000 euros and focuses on supporting companies in their international expansion, particularly in Asian, American, and German markets. Participants will receive assistance with market entry strategies, establishing business contacts, and adapting their products and services to the specifics of local markets. Ultimately, this will enable them to effectively and efficiently scale their operations on an international level.

Sector Agnostic (TRL 5):

This track is aimed at startups at an earlier stage of development, specifically at TRL 5. The program is designed to support the refinement of their product or service and prepare them for market entry. Participants can receive grants of up to 40,000 euros and will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced mentors and Huge Thing partners, gaining valuable knowledge and practical skills. Additionally, the initiative facilitates the establishment of key business contacts that can evolve into long-term partnerships, supporting the continued development of innovative solutions.

The recruitment for the Huge Thing Startup Booster program will run until July 28th. Details and the registration form are available on the website.
