Celebratix funding news – Amsterdam-based Celebratix has Raised €1.1Million in Funding

It offers blockchain-based ticketing without requiring users to deal with crypto. The company currently serves large venues in Amsterdam, Hamburg, and Berlin.

Using Solana's blockchain, it helps make event revenue and customer data accessible before, during, and after events. The Dutch startup mainly works with events in Amsterdam, including Chicago Social Club and Jimmy Woo.

Founder Frank Roskam said, “Celebratix was founded by event organizers, for event organizers, Having organized festivals for 40.000+ people ourselves in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, we’ve first-hand experienced the fraud issues when it comes to reselling tickets. Let alone all the data that is being lost for retargeting. We are perfectly positioned to challenge the incumbent ticketing companies like Ticketmaster.”

Taco Ketelaar, one of the Dutch business angels said, “With it, organizers have full control over the sale of their tickets, which means they do not have to pay fees to secondary marketplaces and can better engage their attendees, As a one-stop-shop for events, I am convinced that Celebratix is setting the new standard for ticketing in Europe. With the backing of Solana it has the potential to scale worldwide."

With the €1.1M investment, founders Frank Roskam, Hans Jochem Dijk (Oranjebloesem/PIV Records), and Guy Rombaut (ex-Bitvavo) plan to expand into Sweden and the UK.

It has also entered the German market through a partnership with MixMag, offering services in Berlin and Hamburg. The funding will help hire new back-end developers and boost sales efforts.
