UK-based LegalTech startup CaseCraft.AI has raised €644K in funding at a €3.5 million pre-money valuation.

The funding will be used to further develop and refine its Small Claims platform and ramp up marketing to reach more users. The round was led by Mount Venture Capital Fund, which contributed €351K.

Michael Iatsukha, Co-founder of CaseCraft.AI, commented: “We are at a pivotal moment in the application of technology to professional services and consumer solutions. This is just the beginning of the value AI can unlock, helping users achieve more with fewer resources.”

The founding team brings a blend of legal, technical, and financial expertise—Iatsukha and Kosarenko are qualified lawyers, Bagrov is a software development expert, and Mints specializes in finance and investment.

In the UK, the Small Claims Track is a simplified legal process for civil disputes valued under €10,000, or €1,000 for personal injury and housing disrepair cases. These claims typically involve issues like unpaid invoices, faulty goods, or tenancy deposit disputes.

CaseCraft.AI is designed to streamline this process with a focus on early dispute resolution to help users settle matters before going to court.

The platform caters to both claimants and defendants—claimants can easily file claims, organize evidence in a court-ready format and receive timely reminders while defendants are guided through crafting detailed responses and gaining clear insights into their case.

The platform also features a user-friendly dashboard for tracking case progress and securely storing documents, along with an AI assistant that offers smart insights and useful tips throughout the process.

Laert Karaashev, Head of VC at Mount Fund, added: “We are proud to support CaseCraft.AI in its journey to bring innovation to the UK’s small claims process. By making the system more accessible and efficient through cutting-edge AI, the platform has the potential to become a true champion for consumers. We look forward to supporting its continued growth.”

The funding will also help expand the team, allowing CaseCraft.AI to bring in top product and engineering talent focused on developing cutting-edge, consumer-facing AI solutions.
