It's system links reusable cups to customers’ bank cards. When people return their cups to smart return points, their deposit is automatically refunded. This helps prevent fraud, speeds up the process, and makes the experience easier for attendees.

Founded earlier this year, it quickly proved its technology works with a successful pilot at a major football stadium in Belgium.
Borro co-founder Kasper Albers said, “There's been an incredible amount of discussion about reusable cups in recent years, With Borro, we aim to relieve event organisers of this burden, allowing them to focus on what really matters.”
The funding round was led by Seeder Fund, with extra support from Imec.istart and private investors. This money will help it to grow its solution in Belgium and internationally.
