SUMMARY

  • Arqh a Zurich-based AI decision intelligence startup, has raised $3.8 million in pre-seed funding to scale its platform for optimizing complex logistics operations. The round was led by Founderful, with participation from Merantix Capital.

Arqh’s platform transforms business objectives into real-time operational decisions, tackling inefficiencies in supply chains that still rely on spreadsheets, phone calls, and legacy systems.

By combining language models with a proprietary optimization engine, the system continuously re-plans operations, explains recommendations and keeps human dispatchers in the loop while respecting real-world constraints.

The engine serves industries such as logistics, energy, fuel replenishment, food & beverage, and field services, helping organizations model scenarios, track KPIs and respond dynamically to disruptions.

Despite launching only 14 weeks ago, Arqh is already working with Conrad-Storz and Feldschlösschen as design partners, achieving 15% savings in fleet operating costs and 80% reduction in manual planning. Teams can also run 1,000+ “what-if” simulations in minutes, enabling faster, data-driven strategic decisions.

Antonia Unger, Co-founder and CEO of Arqh, shared: For decades, the industry has been forced back to manual planning as rigid and off-the-shelf optimisers can’t handle the real-world messiness. We built Arqh to do both. Our ‘Hybrid Brain’ translates messy, real-world language into mathematically optimal plans, while keeping the human expert firmly in command.

Arqh’s hybrid approach merges a “Left Brain” logic engine that produces optimal, practical plans with a “Right Brain” language AI that interprets ambiguous requests and disruptions, delivering both mathematical precision and real-world context.

The new funding will expand Arqh’s engineering and research teams and accelerate software deployment with design partners.
