Arizona-based Gowan Company has completed the integration of Dutch firm Ceradis into the Gowan Group.

The partnership merges Gowan’s global Crop Protection and Seeds expertise with Ceradis’ skills in formulation, development, and registration of crop protection compounds.
The acquisition strengthens Gowan’s presence in Europe and the Americas, expands its R&D portfolio, and reinforces its commitment to providing farmers with tailored technical support and practical solutions.

Following the acquisition, Ceradis will continue operating from its Wageningen, Netherlands headquarters while integrating into Gowan’s global network.
Verbitsky Capital served as financial advisor to Gowan, with Rabobank advising Ceradis.
Founded as a spin-off from Wageningen University & Research, Ceradis develops and commercializes environmentally friendly crop protection products. The company’s patented biological formulas enhance chemical ingredient performance, reducing chemical use per acre and lowering residues on crops.
Ceradis also creates patented bio-fungicides from natural products. With four development platforms, its first products are already sold globally through partnerships with leading crop protection companies.
