AI Workflow Automation Startup n8n Raises $180M, Valued At $2.5B

The round was led by US VC Accel, with participation from Meritech, Redpoint, Evantic, Visionaries Club, T Capital, NVentures, and existing investors Sequoia, HV Capital, Highland Europe, and Felicis Ventures.

Founded in 2019, n8n has now raised $240M in total, including a $60M round in March 2025.

n8n describes itself as an “AI orchestration platform,” enabling businesses to connect hundreds of apps, automate workflows, integrate large language models, and use AI agents to simplify complex business processes.

Jan Oberhauser, CEO and founder of n8n, said: "Billions have been poured into AI tools by businesses and governments, but many organisations are struggling to see meaningful results.

n8n plans to use the funds to meet strong enterprise demand by expanding its engineering team, developing new features, and supporting international growth.

The platform serves over 3,000 enterprise clients, including Vodafone, Softbank, and Seat, and has grown revenues tenfold in the past year. Its ecosystem includes 700,000+ active developers contributing integrations, templates, and guides.
