Belgium-based drone logistics company ADLC has raised €2.08M in seed funding, led by Galactic Beacon Ventures (GBV), the venture capital arm of the Columbia Group. GBV invests in maritime, logistics, energy, and leisure sectors.

Kyriakos Vlachos, Chief Investment Officer at Galactic Beacon Ventures said, “We believe the time is right for drone logistics to transform the maritime and offshore industry. Recent advancements in drone technology, combined with new regulatory frameworks, have created a favourable environment for the widespread adoption of drone delivery. Their work in the Port of Antwerp is a perfect example of how drones can deliver real value to industrial operations,”.

Other investors include LRM, Port of Antwerp-Bruges, and NXT II, with PwC – Next Level providing financial advice and Van Olmen & Wynant handling legal matters. ADLC will use the funds to expand globally, offering drone logistics services in major ports and offshore energy sites.

Rayan Quintaes, ADLC’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer said, “Our goal is to make industrial drone logistics as reliable and commonplace as traditional forms of transportation, We are excited to partner with forward-thinking investors like GBV, LRM, Port of Antwerp-Bruges, and NXT II who share our vision for a more efficient, sustainable future.”

Led by Rayan Quintaes, ADLC provides drone logistics services, allowing companies to use drones without managing them directly.

The company focuses on last-mile deliveries in maritime and offshore areas. It currently operates drone deliveries at the Port of Antwerp with SGS and serves clients like BASF.

ADLC’s drones have made deliveries six times more efficient while cutting CO2 emissions by up to 80% for petrochemical samples.
