Acembee raises €1.2M to develop AI technology for a greener construction industry

Node VC invests in early-stage tech startups with strong engineering teams and big ideas for changing traditional industries.

Acembee will use the new funding to speed up the digital transformation of the construction industry, which is one of the most polluting and least digital sectors in the world.

This news comes as Denmark introduces new climate rules that limit CO₂ emissions from construction. The new cap is 1.5 kg of CO₂ per square meter per year during the building phase.

Acembee, led by Oline Ryberg Stærke, wants to make construction smarter, greener, and more transparent. The company uses AI to automate how energy use and emissions are tracked on construction sites.

Instead of using spreadsheets and disconnected tools, Acembee’s platform collects real-time data and gives clear insights. This helps contractors make quicker, better decisions on site.

As a result, teams can cut energy waste, save money, and stay compliant with new climate rules.
