Founded in 2017 4Founders Capital is an independent venture capital and real estate fund manager focused on high-growth technology companies and, now, strategic hotel assets through its new Hospitality Fund. The fund prioritizes profitability, capital efficiency, and strong teams.
4Founders Capital Hospitality plans to invest in roughly 15 hotels in prime areas of Tier 2 cities with strong tourism potential, outside already saturated markets. The strategy leverages a structural opportunity in the Spanish hotel market, where significant portions of hotel stock still see limited investment.
The fund combines operating returns from hotel activity with real estate value creation driven by the digitalization of hotel management. Returns are expected from both dividends and property divestments over a three- to four-year horizon targeting an IRR per transaction of ~18% and a net IRR above 12%.
To lead the fund, Enrique Domínguez, Founder of GaiaRooms, joins as Head of Investment Strategy. GaiaRooms operates over 100 hotels and 1,500+ rooms, with a model focused on the end-to-end digitalization of assets.
With this launch 4Founders Capital expands its investment scope, bringing expertise in active management, technology and value creation to a sector with strong fundamentals and attractive returns, reinforcing its position as a diversified investment platform aligned with investor interests.
